What.

The.

Fuck.

It doesn't help the millions of people who are under 55, and I'm pissed off that Democrats are seeing this as a win.

Expand medicare for everyone and then I'll consider it a fucking success.

What? Is this in some way official?

Seems so, I'm afraid.

I'm really getting tired of the Democrats conceding every fucking battle like this. If they continue to water this bill down it's going to make the whole healthcare mess much worse.

Why are the 60 Senate votes so important? Is that to avoid filibuster? If the GOP+Liebermann wants to filibuster, I say make them stand up there and do it the old fashion way.

There is something certainly wrong with the people in charge.

I call him "Barky", or Barry Sotero.
What are some quips, ummm. Is it change yet? Or, we gave him a trillion dollars, is it change yet?

Yes, I quite dislike Obama, and have since long before the election. I would love for someone to tell me it is a subconscious, or secret racism issue, I absolutely love that line of BS. Anyone that is allowed to be considered for the presidency is not a friend of mine. I don't meant to be contrary, but I don't think the economic and governmental leaders of that country and me have the same priorities.

Although I feel for the disenchanted, I also have to shake my head and ask "why?". They will say "He said so many nice things before we elected him", and I will say "And no politician has ever done that before?". And they will ponder. How they will ponder...
I am glad we can find something to agree on, and If I may here apologize for being so impolite to you these days. I don't make it clear enough that although I strongly disagree with you on some points, I greatly appreciate your input. You are allowed to have an opinion if I am.

Sorry, and thank you. Smile

RE: Healthcare in America
Obama might not have fulfilled all his campaign promises in the first 11 months of his first term(because that's totally a realistic goal...), but he's actually made a few bold steps in the right direction, and has moved on most of his big ones.

I mentioned this in another thread already, but he's made progress on:
  • Medicinal Marijuana
  • Government transparency
  • Healthcare
  • Iraq
  • Afghanistan
  • Guantanamo Bay
  • Easing foreign relations
  • Lobbyist influence

You can say you disagree with him but you can't say he hasn't implemented change. I don't know who set the expectation that 'change' meant free blowjobs and no sadness, but people have got to lower the bar. Obama isn't the second coming, he's a man doing a job. To be honest, I think he's got a lot on his plate and it's completely understandable that he hasn't turned the government on it's head 11 months after taking office.

P.S. You're racist.
