IMDb's Top 10 Films: Do you agree?

RE: IMDb's Top 10 Films: Do you agree?
Hook was good. I would promote the recent adaptation of Peter Pan - but neither of them belong on the list. They are both thoroughly enjoyable movies, though, and very well done.

Jason Isaacs made a wonderful Captain Hook.

Speaking of Hook - this guy, on "Once Upon a Time"? Sexiest pirate since Johnny Depp put on a hat.

Anything Peter Pan is all good to me. I especially love how Barrie signed the rights over to Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital before he died, so any adaption of Peter Pan helps sick kids. How nice is that? My cousin was the double for one of the kids in Finding Neverland (kids can only work a certain number of hours so they cast kids that look similar for scenes where you don't need to see their face) and he has pictures of himself on set with Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet!

Another movie I love, but often find that others either haven't seen it, or don't feel the same way...Orange County. I think it's hilarious. I think all of the characters are really well-developped. I don't know who directed it or produced it, but the cast is spot on, and I could just watch it over and over. It's so funny!

I do love that movie as well. A lot of people don't give Jack Black enough credit as a comedian. He's been pitch perfect in every movie I've seen him in.

...and if you need an actor to portray a transient, drugged out, under-achiever...You couldn't have hoped for a better performance than the one he gave in that movie. [Image: jprpgq4or6oxo64.jpg]

"Excuse me, sorry...Sean, Have you seen my piss? My Parole Officer's gonna be here any second and I know I left it around here somewhere.(woman thinks it's her wine and begins to mistakingly bring it to her lips)
...Oh, there it is!"

ROFLMAO!

One movie that I would put in my top ten that no one else seems to hold in the same regard is Children of Men. It's a sci-fi dystopian future flick with an interesting plot, but the best part is the gritty, realistic feel you get from the direction. It's also the film that made me realize that Clive Owen has some skill.

Honestly, Faith, that movie didn't hold my interest either.

[shrugs]

On the other hand, I'm not much into dystopian flicks.

I think it's safe to say we have nearly polar opposite opinions of movies.

I liked Star Wars? I know you liked that one...
