Favorite Martin Scorsese Films
Martin Scorsese has done a lot of great movies over the years, and although I think either Taxi Driver, Goodfellas or Departed will be the majority favorite, it doesn't hurt to ask. So which are your top Scorsese films and which is your number 1?

All are my least favorite. His masturbatory film style is rivaled by the likes of Sir Peter Jackson and Akira Kurosawa.

I love Jackson's work on LoTR, but he's fallen in love with some terrible cgi. I'm glad that what is available today was not available at the time LoTR was filmed.

Last Temptation of Christ nearly converted me.

If not for the Christers all united in claiming it was blasphemous, it would have Saved me from perdition.

Departed. Not as good as what actually happened - but he probably thought that in this case, fiction would be more believable.

Blasphemy!

It's been a long time since I've seen Taxi Driver or Raging Bull, but I'd have to say The Departed is my favorite.

Saying negative things about Kurosawa is likely to get you killed by samurai. Tread carefully.

Peter Jackson's filmic style isn't so much masturbatory as it is self-indulgent whorishness.

My fave Scorsese film is 'Gangs Of New York'.

Well, my second favourite film of all time is Taxi Driver, so, unless it turns out he ghost-directed A Clockwork Orange, I guess Taxi Driver is my favourite.

In my modest opinion, "goodfellas" without a doubt, I'd even go as far as saying I enjoyed it more than the "godfather" trilogy

Goodfellas and Departed are a tie for me. I do like Gangs, Wolf of Wallstreet, Casino, Taxi Driver, Raging Bull and Shutter Island as well. I like nearly all of his stuff though.

I would have liked Aviator much more if those damn accents weren't so pronounced. Cate Blanchet was especially annoying, and I typically love her.

Coppola shouldn't have waited 20 years to make Godfather III.
