Ivy (not EVIE) is really leaving for a bit

See you when you're ready, sweetheart. You are loads of fun but it sounds like it is time for you to reload. I also need regular solitude. I hope any adverse circumstances resolve themselves soon.
Take care and get things sorted out, Ivy. We'll be here to drive you nuts again when you're ready.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
-Stephen Jay Gould
Bye lady. You are one funny critter. Stay you. You are darn good at it. Hugs and wishes.
Life is better when you are a bit off.
I.... MISS.... IVY!!!!!!!!
WAAAAAAHHHHHHH
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite. Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment. Quote:Some people deserve hell. I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
*hugs Luckie, even though it's poor consolation compared to Ivy's presence*
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura
Aww Kayenneh hugs are nice too though
I just got my computer back and running yesterday, so now I can do stuff. Like get a hold of you in email! IVY, COME BACK SOON, WOMAN!! We Miss You!!!!!!!

I've been asked by the lady Ivy to relay the following message to you all:
Quote:My dear and lovely AF friends, I'm experiencing pain and suffering due to not being with you at the moment. I fucking miss you, dammit! How am I surviving with no shoutiboxy? I don't know. I send hugs, kisses, and beer and bacon wishes. (wipes ciber tear from ciber eye). Love, Ivy.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
DAmn...wel send my best regards....I missed this thread. *Commits seppuku in shame.
I would be a televangelist....but I have too much of a soul.
That makes me wanna crockpot a slab of bacon in some Guinness. Have it with some waffles.
