We've had philosophers for ten thousand years?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

That's probably why everybody is so tired of us. [Image: w20.png][Image: coffee.gif]

Yes! Yes I do! Why is this crazy?

Explanations and opinions, sans evidence, are the handwaving I was talking about earlier. One can have an opinion about anything, explain away things any way they like, but unless they can demonstrate that this aligns with the real world, all they're doing is fantasizing. Philosophy is cool, I like philosophy, but it doesn't demonstrate claims of existence on its own.

As a mortal your current separation has a cut off point as an immortal it wouldn't. If you are genuinely separated that is rather than just ignorant of God.

I don't know about Zazzy, but I am separated from your father, son and holy ghost the same way that you are separated from Zeus, Swaminarayan and the invisible pink unicorn.

In other words, you're just making things up and then calling me ignorant because I can't predict what fantasy you're going to concoct next. Par for the course.

The fuck?

This goes beyond the average head-spinning mystical bull that I'm used to irl. I like it here, it's entertaining to say the least.

SOC's insanity, if not him just being a troll/POE etc, is particularly amusing.

These days? Did God change Hell or something?

If Hell is also a separation from God's more ardent followers, it will be a very nice place to spend eternity.

Better scriptural understanding of what Jesus talked about. All this business here...

...was a medieval man made invention, Paradise Lost and that kind of thing. When in doubt go back to the source. The Islamic hell described in detail in the Quran somewhat more like the classic fiery version. Note that Jesus refers to hell as the "Outer Darkness" you can't have darkness and literal fire so take the burning as metaphorical. He may also have been referring to place were bodies were the bodies of the Jewish dead burned.

Those ardent followers could well join you there. Though you may have to put some serious effort into separating yourself from God beyond just not realizing he exists (assuming he does exist and you can realize this). Or perhaps deep within your heathen heart there is some spark of something there you're just not kindling it to the full flame.
Come all ye faithful joyful and triumphant.
