I made this thread because I didn't want to necropost in the other thread.

The last films I watched were.

Filth, 5/5 this is a fucked up film and I loved everything about it.

Nightmare and elm street. 5/5 watched this at the cinema on halloween they don't make horrors as bloody as this anymore.

The conjuring. 4/5 this film was pretty good.

The main reason I wanted to start this thread is to warn people not to watch

"The family" a new film by robert deniro, it is definitely by far the worst film I've ever seen recently.
It's a comedy gangster film, before I even went to see it I thought this can't possibly work because although I love violence in films, I don't find the violence comical in that way, and gangster films are supposed to be dark and gritty not like comedies.
So basically it's very very very very shit in comparison to goodfellas or the supranos or casino in terms of gangster films
and is utterly destroyed by the competition of comedy films like the anchor man, superbad get him to the greek and so on.

The comedy is all so ridiculously predictable surely only an 8 year old would find it funny but they wouldn't be allowed to see it because of the rating.

I didn't choose this movie myself and I suppose I shouldn't have allowed myself to be talked into it.

I watched the Hunger Games sequel with my wife on a rare movie date. Not a bad movie, but leaves you hanging.

Before that, the last movie I watched was "The Counselor." Total garbage, don't waste your time. Could be an interesting movie about people hiding from and being on the run from drug cartels, but gets bogged down in heavy dialogue as if each character is trying to be extremely profound. Ends up being a confusing mess and you often aren't sure what's going on. I understand this is because the movie was written by a novelist as his first screenplay effort.

Prometheus, well produced piece of shit. A series of good sets do not a tolerable movie make.
