actually my roomie claims governments prep atheists through the media in times of need or when something big is coming up?
wishes to have atheists jump the gun and move to greece, because atheists have no fear or god to be accountable to. Sorry but this is just crocodile tears . Greek history is deep, I'd have to say it is without a doubt the cradle of western civilization. Constantinople is of no concern really, although it still is a very strange place... a microcosm if you will. Alexander the Great paved the way for Christianity all through the Persian empire... My friend and I agree on one very important aspect of western civilization, western civilization is Christendom and I have to agree. Although I am non-religious, from study I have known that the Greek assimilated pre-history which made them in their time so great, that assimilation included the writing of the Hebrew and of Christianity. Greece the cradle of the scientific minded western civilization definitely has roots in Christendom. pretty much everything we know in this language we speak and write in. to Americans, and even Canadians you name it... any member of the western way of life. if you have someone attacking at their core, Americans perceive them as communists. people who hate our western way of life. Language is a measure by which a philosophical ideology's success can be gauged, and also tells us who is the most scientifically advanced. English is spoken in every nation on this planet, it is the most efficient and most expressive spoken language in its own right and it is dominant. Christendom is the most successful philosophy for the past 2500+ years even with all of its ups and downs. Philosophy is the father of the Scientific Method, Philosophers frame the questions and determine the findings impacts and knowledge value. My friend would like to see atheists concentrate on a more unjust and almost sickening philosophy (Islam) Instead of attacking their own western way of life, which includes acceptance of everything (which is just and not repulsive) the enemy attacks western civilization. Stoning a woman to death buried up to her breasts in sand and strapping bombs on your own children to murder others is quite repulsive. The Christian people I know and have met are peace loving people the majority of them. A few fundamentalists here and there do not speak for a majority. And even still these Christian fundamentalists like Westboro and all of their 43 registered members is rejected by the other institutions. But it is allowed in America as long as it is law biding, it says it in my nations Constitution. That all people are free to practice their religion or worship their God or Creator and that is why I have atleast 54 different unique houses of worship within a 7 mile radius from my own home. do you understand? find someone else to pick on... Batman says it is uncool to pick a fight with a loving kind and just people, any of them. RE: Islam IS the true religion of humanity.

Sometimes I feel like I am not amongst the smartest atheists in the world.
Sometimes I wonder why I attack myself and my way of life and those who paved the way for my way of life. Sometimes I feel like I can right other injustices which deserve to be righted right away. Sometimes I feel like I can actually get something done and make a difference. But I'm only a dreamer...
