The Last Movie You Watched
RE: The Last Movie You Watched
Mirrors 2 was pretty good. In fact, I like it more than the original because it doesn't involve a stupid demon, but rather just a young girl's soul out for justifiable revenge.

They're a series I'll never see and I don't think I'll miss them.

"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

I forgot to mention that Christy Carlson Romano is naked in her final scene in Mirrors 2. You see her tittehs and ass. *imitating Borat* Nice!

Case 39 was good and even creeped me out a little. I wouldn't have cast Renee Zellweger as the lead, though.

Here's one to file under, "Dafuq?" Intruders. It could have been a good movie... if it had made any sense whatsoever. How did they get Clive Owen to star in this thing? And by the way, the DVD case lied to me. It said Clive Owen would at some point be faceless. Never fucking happened.

So, The Box. You may have actually heard of this one. The main characters have to decide if they will press a button on a box. If they press the button, they will get $1,000,000, and someone they don't know will die. Well, shit, I would press the fuck out of that button. People die all the time anyway. People kill each other for less all the time.

Then shit gets weird. There's some freaky conspiracy stuff. I think we're supposed to believe that aliens are behind it? Yeah, because aliens would go to all the trouble of designing morality tests for humans instead of just fucking deciding outright whether to communicate with or annihilate them. Suuuuuuuuuuure.

WarGames. I recently read 'Ready Player One' and there were constant references to the movie, so I just had to see it. I kind of liked it, even though Mathew Broderick seems to have a bit of difficulty portraying emotions. And I was surprised at how well designed the WOPR was, if you had taken away all the blinking light panels, it could have been a modern computer. A wonderfully nerdy film, I will most likely watch it again.
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura
