Christians IN Hell
#21
RE: Christians IN Hell
Back when I was a devout Christian, I used to detest the jerks who called themselves True Christians implying that all the others were phoneys.

Even after decades as an atheist the colossal arrogance of it still really pisses me off.

Doesn't this "implication" go for just about anything? Why are Christians any different?

Because there is a gaping chasm between the claim of "I drive the nicest car on the block" and damning people to eternal hellfire. Don't be obtuse.

Funny how it seems like it's only ever other Christians who have to worry about that, though, and never the obviously-saved little lamb cutlet uttering the sentiment.

Whereas atheism is certainly wrong. On that we all agree. Repent. [/serious]

Better? Remove the arrogant wording and obfuscation behind psuedo intellectualist terminology, and this is all the man ever posts!

Well what do you expect from a guy who uses Emanuel Swedenborg as his avatar. Here's just a taste of the crazy that CW is apparently into:

Wikipedia about Emanuel Swedenborg Wrote:In 1741, at age 53, he entered into a spiritual phase in which he began to experience dreams and visions, beginning on Easter weekend of April 6, 1744. This culminated in a 'spiritual awakening', in which he received revelation that he was appointed by the Lord to write the The Heavenly Doctrine to reform Christianity. According to The Heavenly Doctrine the Lord had opened Swedenborg's spiritual eyes, so that from then on he could freely visit heaven and hell and talk with angels, demons and other spirits; and the Last Judgement had already occurred, in 1757. However, he tells us that at this day it is very dangerous to talk with spirits, unless a person is in true faith, and is led by the Lord.

And then we have this gem from this 18th century fucktard:

Yeeah, who the hell would quote this imbecile? Jesusfuck, that's a disaster of a thought - let alone a quote.
