Atheism, the short lived idea?

For the past 200-300 years or so Atheism has flourished in developed countries, with atheism, has led to being secular countires, which have made us humans take leaps and bounds in all fields of science. However, is that about to end?
Europe's population is dwindilling, so to keep the economies afloat they get immigrants from developing countries. The major problem is that most immigrants, to Europe are either Muslims or Christians.
Whether the idea of God is a dellusion or not, Atheism isnt a very nice idea (You are a product of nothing and mere chance) most people will not adopt it, espically if they are from a developing country. Since most people will not adopt it and immigrants come from thrid world coutries who are either Muslims and Christians, who keep their faith. Are we going to see the slow and steady decay of Atheism?

I guess the question is, would you prefer to live in a majority Christian or Islamic country?
The problem with Muslims is they can be fired up and cry, 'Jihad' Causing civilised countires into barbaric (Afghanistan) nations. Im not saying all Muslims are like this. However, the worst you will get with a Christian nation is them knocking on your door and having billboards telling you not to have an abortion. Generally, in the 21st century you dont see Christians killing other people, because they believe contrary...
So I personally would prefer to live in a Christian nation, if I was an atheist...

Wow, well that rambles and has little to do with the topic at in the title. I guess I'll try to respond to your main points, as disconnected as they are. I sincerely doubt that Atheism is going to be a short lived idea. It's already been around from time immemorial and will continue so. Also Atheism is not on the decline, but in fact is on a rapid rise, especially in the United States. In fact Christianity is on a rapid decline (especially in the United States.)

Then there is some disconnected comparison between Christianity and Islam and the question about where you'd much rather live. While I would certainly never want to live in an Islamic country, I'm not sure that there even is a Christian country anymore (Maybe Ethiopia?). All of the countries in the west have secular constitutions. The United States most definitely has a secular Constitution and the laws are certainly not a product of Christianity. (The first amendment and the first commandment aren't even compatible.) So I'd most like to live where I do, in the secular west.

Yes, Christianity has been sufficiently muzzled over the last 400 years that given only the option of living in a majority Christian or majority Muslim country, with no other specifics known, like which Christian country or Muslim country (I'd rather live in Turkey than Uganda) I'd pick Christian.

China has the largest population of any country. Even their minorities are more numerous than most country's majorities.

I dont know how much you know about China, but millions of Chinese are becoming Christians. I was in Hong Kong and I saw a Christian reading their Bible in Maccas! they even invited me to church! Atheism has no hope when Christians act like a loving community, like they do in China.

Christianity is the fastest-growing minority religion in China. Mormonism is the fastest-growing minority religion in the USA. The USA is not going to become majority Mormon, either. Anecdotes are not the plural of data. Some Chinese Christian movements are led by people claiming to be the return of Jesus. This is not going to turn out like you imagine, I think. Generously estimating PRC Christians at 100 million makes them about 10% of China's population. The CIA World Factbook makes it 4-5%.

I dont know. I know a lot of immigrants from third-wrold countries who do hold onto their faith. Remember, immigrants ussally are community centred than us in the developed world...

Typically in the first and second generations. In the USA it's a truism that by the third generation, you're primarily American.

No. If I had to live in any religious society, it would be a Buddhist society. Christians can be really crazy lol.

It's not chance. It's something called progress. You build yourself up slowly. Are you born an adult? No! You fucking grow! Imagine evolution as a mountain, with humans at the top.
