Thanks to xpastor I'm now going to check out the friendly atheist forum.
You'll be very welcome.

Consider posting a bit.

Over the past year unfortunately traffic has declined, and in the past few months it's mostly been me slugging it out with a fundamentalist or once in a while debating politely with a decent liberal Christian.

I think I'll check out Friendly Atheist as well.

I would recommend the parent site any day: http://www.jesusneverexisted.com/

I think they switched it over to Facebook or Ken's FB site a year or so ago.

I can't be bothered with FB.

I did try registering at Friendly Atheist but they want a confirmation of an image for security purposes and there is no such image.

I am on TTA, and erm... Digital Spy (I'm pretty sure that's not a "athiest-religious site/forum" but if we're classing it as one...)

I used to be a regular over at the atheiststoday.com forum, but I haven't been there in a long time. There never was a high level of activity there, as I think most people don't know it exists.

I'm also a member of The Clergy Project, but that is limited to clergypersons, former or still active, who have shed all supernatural beliefs, kind of a support group, especially for the actives, who have not yet found a way to exit without facing financial disaster. For myself, I've been out of the ministry close to 30 years.

I starting following the Friendly Athiest blog a couple of months ago, and I checked out the related forum, but as xpastor said, it's pretty dead over there. So I went looking for busier forums, and ended up here. Actually, the comments section on the blog posts are pretty busy, so there's a decent bit of discussion there.

Same here. My family is Jewish, but we were never very religious, and I was somewhat skeptical, even as a kid. But I sorta played along with barely celebrating holidays and never going to temple, and only in the last couple of years did I shake the Jewish label and declare myself atheist. And only in the last few months have I actually looked for any of this stuff online.

I was on Christian Forums for a while. I put lots of effort into trying to explain basic science, what Atheism actually is, and why praying and then something happening wasn't necessarily proof of a God.

It was wasted effort as far as I can tell.

Christians ignored your attempts to inform them? Huh... that's not like them. Wink

I'm thinking about checking out the friendly atheist, and while it's not a forum I tend to lurk around the American Atheists comments sections over their various news articles.

Yes, there's a few others I post on. I enjoy this one, as it was the first one I 'found' online, and I lurked for a while before joining last year. I learned so much from everyone here, and it is moderated well. That might not seem like a big deal, but some sites are troll-havens. So, it's nice to see that the mods here want to keep a good and friendly site going for everyone. The other sites are good/fun/informative also, but I guess because this is the first site I found, I tend to stay here mainly.

I'm technically on Rapture Ready, but that place seems so sterile I don't even know how to start with them. Atheistwise, I know I have a few likes on my Facebook, but my likes section seems so disorganized, I couldn't even tell you what they are. I know that I follow Rebecca Vitsmun. That's about all.
