I expect a complete loss of mobility, perception, digestion, cognition and -yes- consciousness. Basically all the functions sustained by my body will stop.
Of course I can't prove that. For all I know there may be a race of cloaked very advanced aliens standing by with an advanced technology to harvest my consciousness and transplant it into some machine. Perhaps they'll be so good at this that I never notice them at all. I just wouldn't bet on it.
So what weird scenario do you imagine for continuing consciousness beyond the death of the body, rev?
