Artur Axmann, you are absolutely correct. If you are wrong, eternity is a long time.
Tell me, have you heard of our LORD and savior Flying Spaghetti Monster? He's good friends with the Invisible Pink Unicorn, as well as Odin, Ra, Zeus, and a ton of other deities. I suggest you get to know them (by which I mean you worship them), or it will end badly for you.
The truth is absolute. Life forms are specks of specks (...) of specks of dust in the universe.
Why settle for normal, when you can be so much more? Why settle for something, when you can have everything?

Pascal's Wager fails on every level. It was flawed in the 17th century, no less flawed in the 21st.
You are risking just as much as we are.
You are ignoring every other god and all their various hells.
What if the one true god actually created all the various religions as a test for gullibility? And he rewards those of us who are skeptical enough to not accept any of them based on insufficient evidence, and punishes those of you who believe one of them based on faith?
I know if I were a god, I wouldn't want to spend eternity with a bunch of gullible, ass kissing sycophants. I'd want to spend it with skeptical, rational thinkers.
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

Wait....
I thought we can live a life of 'guilty pleasures', and repent and accept Jesus, and still get into heaven?

Oh, so you're a Muslim, are you.
Good thing. I hear there's a special place in Jahanam (Muslim hell) for Christians.
Wouldn't want to gamble with eternity, right?
By the way. Thanks for showing your bigotry by assuming that we are atheists because we want to live a life of 'guilty pleasures'.
Sorry to break it to you, but countries with the highest % of atheists have the lowest crime rates, poverty rates, infant mortality, best education and health care systems.

The brother asks a very important question, he says that, why fall for short term pleasures and risk Hell, when you can have all the pleasures you want for eternity in the ahera, or, the after life, following a life of abstinence.
The answer to that question is because us atheists have not come to the conclusion that God doesn't exist easily. It is a result of a great thinking effort and study that went on for years. It is a spirit of observation that we use to guide ourselves. The more you think about it rationally, the lesser the probability for God to exist gets.
So the guy who gets a long lasting blowjob from his female lover 2 hours after swallowing 30mg Dexedrine XR and a Tums does think about that risk, but believe me, it is well worth it. The probability for God to exist is so low that obeying the scriptures when you could get a blowjob on dexedrine is...purely idiotic, not to mention irrational.
You simply do not give the bird your hands hold for the bird on the fence. What is yours is yours assured, when you die, well, that's a completely different story. Religion simply manipulates fearful people into renouncing to the right nature has given them to experience pleasure. It is abomination.

Wow what a great idea there! God is such an old senile fuck that he'd never figure out that you just chose his side for the reward and the avoidance of hell.
Like that senile buddy of his Isaac, god would be easily fooled by a little mental fake fur. Yep, that god is a dim wit and he wouldn't recognize your fake belief.
Find the cure for Fundementia!

I've heard there's a verse in the bible that says if you are luke warm in your faith, god with spit you out. So trying to convince people to join just in case christians are right, won't help at all. It's more like a tactic of just getting you to sit in the church and hope that eventually you'll sync in with the group.
