You're like the opposite of a literalist, or something?

based on, concerned with, or verifiable by observation or experience rather than theory or pure logic.
"they provided considerable empirical evidence to support their argument"

I use the term from Dawkins use regarding this subject. I guess you're saying that he got it wrong.

Verifiable : sure. Every Christian verifies the experience of the rest. Independently verifiable to non believers : no.

Unless you're taking about something else?
Whether or not someone else, any old boogeyman you choose, used the word correctly or incorrectly is irrelevant. As per the definition you linked, are we willing to move forward with the proposition that you (and others) have (-and therefore that there can be-) empirical evidence of the supernatural? Have we resolved the issue of which side of your claim your position actually lies upon?

(For bonus points, perhaps you could explain this mysterious barrier to verification that is not present in yourself or other believers but that -is- present in myself and other non-believers; since that's a conveniently empirical claim some demonstration of it's veracity ought to be forthcoming?)

I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I'm truly humbled to be schooled by someone with no understanding of the subject.

That is too funny though Smile

You'll say anything to justify your pride, eh? Definitely easier than otherwise. But remember:

Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

And try not to laugh too much for now because Jesus said:

Woe to you who laugh now, for you shall mourn and weep.

Also, Jesus said:

“Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift."

And:

I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’ is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell.

When did atheism originate?

Was evolution involvolved or was it created?

They say: your future all depends on your roots.

How could anyone actually know the answer to that? Maybe we were already religious by the time we were human. Animals can demonstrate superstitious behavior, so there's no good reason to think that wasn't the case. Maybe we couldn't truly have supernatural beliefs until we had a sophisticated language, and some person somewhere was the first to conceptualize some sort of spirit to be placated. It was at least tens of thousands of years ago. There is currently no way to know for sure. My personal opinion is that belief in animistic spirits was the norm as far back as is reasonable to say we were humans. We evolved to find food and avoid lions, not to skeptically evaluate claims. So what?

Just a page or two more if this until Frodo claims he provided evidence and a rational argument!
