I wouldn't put any weight whatsoever on the words of someone so mentally handicapped by their dogma that they would murder their own child if their god told them to.
Just hit that ignore button and we can get back to talking about systematic abuse and molestation of infants by ignorant religious folk. 
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Good point.
FGM, most would refuse, I should think. My understanding is that it's more a cultural thing than religious and therefore easier to refuse.
MGM, I'm sure some number of Jews and Muslims would, maybe - probably - agree under family and peer pressure. Perhaps those that refused woud help to change the situation, I don't know. At least they would have the choice which they don't now.
