Firstly I am not make ridiculous claims you think I am, but I am not. Secondly I was just trying to fix my mistake of going off topic.
Sorry if that offended you.

Offended that you're going off topic? Nah. Annoyed because you consistently and constantly ignore my questions and refuse to provide any evidence for anything you say? A bit.

I'll ask again, where are these 24000 manuscripts you mentioned?

Why then would I turn around and start questioning him. I am also pretty sure I have never been brainwashed.
Secondly, I never surrendered my free will, I was given the option to become a christian and follow christ, I chose to. Secondly I know God does everything for a purpose as there are many examples in the Bible.
The fact that you openly and happily say you will never question it, is a bit of a sign... If this is such an important thing for you, you should question it, to make sure you're correct about this very important thing.
I have questioned it before in my Bible class and I have heard some other questions answered.

I am not ignoring your question. Firstly in a Bible and answer book I have it stated here were 24000 manuscripts, but it said for more information I had to look up another book which I don't have. I found this which will help explain things. http://listverse.com/2013/03/31/8-reason...y-existed/

So you stopped questioning because some people in authority positions answered "other questions"? Turning your brain off to skepticism about a position is never a good idea.

(You're also still avoiding my question, Carmy).

EDIT: Ah, bad timing by me. Unfortunately I can't access the link as I'm behind some firewalls on a work laptop, but if you're just going to say "I read a reference about it to a book I don't have", then shit, that's not even personal anecdote, it's not evidence. Give me something a bit more concrete here Caramel.

Are you trying to guess my name because you are way off.Secondly the book I got the 24000 figure is from "Grill a Christian" by Roger Carswell and the book it references is "Why Trust the Bible" by Amy Orr-Ewing.

I also haven't turned my brain of to questioning things, I have faith that God existed.

No, I'm not trying to guess your name Carmen, what gave you that idea. Also, you're providing books that are garage-produced by a British evangelical minister, and not in any way academic or historical. Just because some arse (since he's British) claims something in his pet fantasy book doesn't make it evidence. If there exist these 24000 contemporary manuscripts (thats a lot of documents), you'd be able to find a better source than one whackjob's ad-hoc justification for his belief, which doesn't even try to hide the fact that's it's all pre-drawn conclusions. Where are the historical articles? Peer-reviewed dissertations? Literally anything besides "this one guy says so", please.

Well, to be honest I have completely forgotten what I am talking about. The Bible is all about faith, Jesus himself said that if he prefreformed miracles to certain people they still wouldn't. In oher words no matter what I say you are not going to believe me.

You're literally sticking your fingers in your ears and saying "lalalala I can't hear you", and then saying that you just need faith as if it's some sort of an answer? Worthless waste of time speaking with you then.

Ahh well it was fun while it lasted ,I 'll talk with you again. It is actually quite funny but in two days I have been called useless twice. It is actually showing me I am doing something right, if I went onto an atheist fourm and got support obviously I am not talking about the Bible.

I never said the word useless, Cameltoe. It's a waste of time discussing anything with someone who literally says flat out "Nothing you say matters, I know I'm right." The discussion is over at that point, which is now.
