Sure, there are things I have been wrong in- of course.
As for arrogant, I do realize I can come across that way, don't mean to.
The thing is when you indicate there is information (that is controversial) which you consider a fact- it looks arrogant, especially to a generation or two trained / immersed in the idea there is no immovable Truth- only constant changing evolutionary ideas.
But all that is beside the question posed.

Dude, props on admitting you were wrong, seriously, that took balls and I appreciate the honesty, but... can you really not see the irony in calling the fact that evolution changes to fit the data a weakness, just after you've had to change the date of the apocalypse for the same reason?

But all that is beside the question posed. Let me state it too you like this. I get the impression that you as a human being you probably quite humble, what is arrogant in its very nature is your religion. This seems to be invariably true of all control systems.

Thanks Esq, I never said anything about the Apocalypse.
I called the rapture date, and to that, I said "If I am wrong...."
Repeatedly, I indicated this was a shot based on indicators.
For other things Biblical (you know what I mean) there are no indicators, no conjecture possible.
Control system?
You can not go anywhere in any society on earth and escape systemic control.
It is pandemic everywhere and the only choice we have is which one we accept.
The default position is to exert no effort to deeply evaluate the one we find ourselves in.

-Why- were you wrong Proff? Is any part of your reasoning, the process that went into your conclusions- not true today.... even though it was true a couple of days ago? What changed? Why hasn't the rapture begun?

Hi Rhythm, I was wrong about making a conclusion based on the indicators at hand.
It looked like a good trade so to speak. - I went long and got wiped out.
Or, I shorted the system and got wiped out.
Where else could I get away with posting something like that?
You guys were pretty cool, not withstanding some hate spat my way.

But why were you wrong? The indicators made it a go, didn't they? Have those indicators changed? Is Obama not the antichrist...today, for example -whereas just a few days ago he was?
