I find your phrase "human life" to be intentionally muddy. I don't agree that what you define as "human life" that is not a person is entitled to the level of protection that you accord it. I don't see how we can resolve that.
Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.

No I do use my rational brain and as a result I have concluded that I think abortion is wrong.
What the sources of this belief?

No, I don't respect your beliefs. I respect your right to hold them. I do not respect anyone's unjustified beliefs, especially ones for which there is counter-evidence. That kind of belief is delusion.

Beliefs don't need a factual back, for instance I belief I don't really like the colour orange, there is no factual evidence does it mean it is wrong? This just gets sillier and sillier. If you prefer orange, than it's a fact that you prefer orange. But you don't believe in orange. You don't need to. You know as a fact that orange exists your eyes and everyone not colorblinds' eyes confirm it as well. Your belief in god is different, because there are no facts to back it up, only your belief. But your belief can't magic god into existence. Either he exists or he doesn't and your belief won't change that. Which brings us back the the question of fetuses. Either they have the kind of attributes that make up what we call a person or they don't. Unless we are talking about a religious concept like souls, this is a largely factual question. Your belief in the person-hood of fetuses is not relevant. (October 12, 2014 at 11:51 am)C4RM5 Wrote: No I do use my rational brain and as a result I have concluded that I think abortion is wrong. And without using your brain, how did you conclude?
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god. If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.

How do you know I didn't use my brain or is this just a belief that has no facts to back it up?
So Napoleon please show me these facts because one thing I have learned is that you can't state anything with out facts and sources.
