There's something about today that makes me feel beautiful. Two different guys tried to get my attention this evening.... Well, I already had someone else.
T thinks I'm beautiful. He really is my best friend. And sex with him is awesome. Right around tonight's second orgasm, he had something to say about loving me.... lol, he might hold to that in the morning. Might... Oh, and some of the company I was expecting for Thanksgiving isn't coming. I will.not be caught jumping on the couch cheering. I will not be caught jumping on the couch cheering. I will not.... yeah. 
Arrived at work last night to find they got me an early birthday present . . .
. . . a brand new intern!  I have to train him over the next few months.  His name is Mark but I told him I'd call him "Chewie". "As in Chewbacca?" Big grin? "No, as in chew toy!" Bigger grin!

I'm thinking that I must have grown up alp of a sudden. I remember last time I was here for a holiday, I wasn't quite a grown up and felt excluded from the kitchen. I kinda watched for a while and then went to play with the kids. S looks like she feels that way today....
All of a sudden, I am respected as an adult. A grown woman who has taken on a grown-up's role.... Even though I am the biggest idiot in the room. Leaving Cokes in the freezer overnight and filling the kitchen with blue smoke and loosing the sour cream.... Yeah. |
