RE: What are you thinking about?

I am thinking about how much I would love to be back in the western world for the winter holiday season. I could so easily get a ticket and hop a flight across the Pacific back my own somewhat more addictive culture (minus mass shootings, gangs, religious theism, and other hysterias). I have missed 4 years of hockey, clean cold air, and lush fresh forests, and the 2 months of holiday seasons. I was born an atheist and I have been atheist and non-religious my whole life, but yes, I do enjoy with grand glee the holiday season with all the trimmings. It has nothing to do with god or religions but own take on 'tis the season gives me carte blanche to sing and cook and make merry and shower people with good things.
I miss the smell of ice,the smell of goldened trees and the pines, the smells of fall and winter....and then the sunny floral lift of early spring as the skates and pucks are still whooshing.
Sigh. I am a long long long way from home in a place that I don't love doing something I believe in. Everything in life is a tradeoff.

Pardon my nosiness but where are you right now?
But you can keep the ice. A good summer Christmas season for me.

Thinking about the blender I just bought. Why? I don't blend. I'm trying to convince myself it was to make nice healthy smoothies.
But fuck it, the truth is that I bought it to make margaritas.

Been thinking a lot about getting a juicer. Really anxious to shed some weight, and kind of quickly.

I'm thinking about how I haven't been here in a long time.
"Yes, I am a Free Lover. I have an inalienable, constitutional and natural right to love whom I may, to love as long or as short a period as I can; to change that love every day if I please, and with that right neither you nor any law you can frame have any right to interfere. And I have the further right to demand a free and unrestricted exercise of that right, and it is your duty not only to accord it, but as a community, to see I am protected in it. I trust that I am fully understood, for I mean just that, and nothing else."

I'm thinking about my boss being away in Australia for a month. A happy thought, considering it's on the other side of the world. Maybe beccs could keep him.
