When I swear in english, which happens occasionally, it's always fuck. When I swear in German, it's mostly cunt, which is "fut". Both are mainly chosen for shortness.
Ah, who am I kidding? They both come naturally without even a moments thought.

Buttface is probably my most common "insult" I call everyone that.

I think, you have to make a distinction between actually insulting people or your daily swearing habits. When insutling, you usually make some choices of how offending and personal your formulate your reply.
When swearing, it mostly comes naturally. It's out before you know it.

Ich will Deutsch (to speak)
lol I don't know how to say "to speak"
One day I will speak German, hopefully fluently. For now I can make out basic sentences if I read them or someone says them very slowly.
My favorite thing to say....hmmm...it's a toss up between "ich liebe dich so sehr, Meister" and "ich bin deine Schlampe"

I try not to insult people for real. Probably asshole is most common as far as real insults go.

It's a little bit more complicated in German.
You can say, "Ich will Deutsch verstehen", meaning to understand it when someone is talking to you. Or you can say, "Ich möchte Deutsch sprechen können", meaning, I want to be able to talk German. German sentences are usually more complicated than english ones, but since we share a common linguistic ancestor, many words have the same roots. Only the synthax is different on many occasions.
You see, "sprechen", "speak" are not that different if you think about it. When I started to learn english, I concentrated on the similarities, which are many. Some words are virtually the same like "bed","Bett".
And you know, you've chosen one of the meanest and most vulgar words when using "Schlampe" for a woman? It's german german. We don't use it.

"Fucktard" has always amused me. But I almost choked to death the first time I heard "cum dumpster".

So....more vulgar than say..."I am your whore" ?
I didn't choose the word, Vosur calls me that occasionally
I've been noticing that German seems to be closer to Spanish than English when it comes to the make up of sentences. Not the actual words but how the sentences are formed.

No, "Schlampe" is basically slut or whore. But it has a different root, since "schlampig" originally meant sloppy. And by originally I mean some decades ago, within my living memory.
As for your second claim, it may have some similarities. But you could say the same for french. For example, there's only one "the" in english. It's used for female, male and neutral. In German there are three: "Der" for male, "Die" for female" and "Das" for neutral, if you're talking about an object.

You probably could say the same for French but I don't speak French so that doesn't really help me
Oh and about Schlampe...Vosur calls me a dirty whore in English all the time I love it
