Not to suggest I give it thought, but that's just about as easy as it gets: God. If someone has a god that they say hides, or a story that he showed up a while ago, talked to this other guy, but doesn't come 'round no more, well they shouldn't be surprised I think they don't have a god. :-)

A personal appearance.
A testable "miracle"
Angels appearing to the world and actually giving interviews and proving their abilities, instead of apparently appearing to a single loon somewhere.

I've said it every time this inane question comes up, and I'll say it again.
God (who apparently knows who I am, what I believe, why I believe it, and all my thoughts, AND who wants me to believe in him) should know exactly what would be evidence for me.
I'm just waiting to actually see any evidence..

I dropped a hammer on my foot once. I briefly believed in, and cursed Thor.

From time to time Dyonysos demands certain actions from me and I happily comply.
The christian god, not so much. Maybe if some angels were to come down and blow Mozart's requiem from their butts, I would consider it a sign. But all around, of all the gods created by men, Yahweh is the most unbelievable one. Goes for Allah as well, of course, since it's Yahweh again, acting under a different franchise.
In literature, we would call him a Mary Sue.

Hey! Has anyone given any thought to what kind of evidence would convince you Shrek is real?

Excellent point. Why is it that angels (and aliens) seem to spend their time appearing to people whom you wouldn't believe if they told you the sun was going to rise in the east, let alone that they were visited by an angel?
When Gabriel sits down for a chin wag with Jeanette Thomas, I'll take note.

No, I've never, ever considered such things. I don't know how it's escaped my attention in my thirty-four years as an atheist.
Thank you for bringing this deficiency to my attention, I'll get to work on it right away.

Good God!
You know, when I decided to become an atheist, (read: deny God), I just said "I am going to blindly follow the Hitchens/Harris/Dawkins triumvirate" and do everything they tell me to do. I didn't even think about what would convince me that god(s) exist. It really just did it on a whim.
Thanks, OP, what a profound thing for me to have overlooked!
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great
