I thought you might have been my sock. It's been missing a couple days now, and at first I thought my dog may have taken it but I have been spending more time than usual on AF so I couldn't be sure.

Umm...
Why?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

It was just an idea we had here at the office. "Go to an atheist site and pretend to be a theist just to see what life is like on the other side of the fence."
It was very ... interesting. Uncomfortable, but interesting.
Certainly entertaining.

But you didn't act the theist after your first post. As I said before, you gave the impression of being a deist/atheist hybrid.

Well I just couldn't bring myself to the full monty.
I'm very relieved that NO ONE asked the big question of, 'Do you believe in God?'
lol

Because you made it abundantly clear you didn't. At least not in the theist sense. At least I got the impression, that's why I constantly asked you, why Jesus? That's why I also considered the possibility of a real theist playing atheist.

Well I listed only one thing that Jesus supposedly said in the book of horrors- the golden rule- as the one thing I live by, and compared it to the Ethic of Reciprocity.
What kind of theist ignores everything else in the bible? I chopped it all down to one thing, only because its inherent.

A theist believing what an atheist should look like. That's why I also wasn't interested in all the bickering going on for several pages. It just didn't compute. Your first post was the usual theist stuff. (can't be arsed to look it up right now) Closing with "ask me anything", which we have very often from real theists. Then it came down to some back and forth, wittling it down to Jesus being a mere man but being historical and most certainly dead. And then came the big bickering session with claiming to be a theist again, when several pages later you again confined yourself to Jesus being the only thing interesting you, but only as some kind of philosophical influence.
I'm sorry, it sounded phony. My guess was a theist sock, but I settled for deist later and watched how things panned out.

I've never understood the need to troll/anonymously poe people.
I can pretend to be a theist quite well under my normal account without tying up the time of members/staff wondering if I'm real.
Yes, they'll know it's me, but we can have just as much fun, if not more fun knowing who and what I actually am.
Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni:
"You did WHAT? With WHO? WHERE???"

Hey, I'm not the one who drives the crazy train backwards through traffic. I drive it full steam ahead, like a bull in a china shop.
