Actually, a more revealing symptom of a dangerous mind is not wanting to understand.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Which brings you back to the question; how do you know? By what manner was this knowledge imparted?

Notice how GC made a well thought out, evidence based and logical response to your question?

No....?

Me neither...

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

Like not understanding why waving a ak47 around in the air holding a detonator screaming jesus i love then blowing yourself up is bad.

Yeah. I asked how he knows what he claims to know and he just restated what he claims to know. Filibustering is usually a dead giveaway that the guy's bluffing on an empty hand. How about that, GC? Your tell is showing.

He doesn't know shit. He's merely convinced in his belief. And in his conviction he's also sure he's not bluffing. In real life he's holding an empty hand, but he sees a straight flush.

Well, what kind of real world knowledge can you expect from someone, who's utterly convinced that Adam and Eve walked the garden of Eden?

So you believe that we are becoming more moral, you should stay off the computer and watch the news once in awhile. Blacks and whites going against each other, police being killed, shot and threatened in NYC. Terrorist bombings world wide, Russia threatening to escalate tensions with Europe and the U.S., the Middle East is tearing itself apart. Drug use is at an all time high, no pun intended. I could go own and own, page after page, but I want, with you it will do know good.

Quote: If god told me personally to kill my children i would tell god to go fuck himself you inconsiderate heartless being.

God's not going to talk to you, you have nothing in common with such a righteous being.

Quote:And yet what would you do i know you would you won't say because you know i am right.

What I know to be true is you are as low life as anyone I've ever conversed with, you call yourself moral yet you can make such a hateful statement as this.

Quote: Prove where in the fuck it says end times in the fucking bible because there is no mention of rapture in that toilet paper of a book.

You stupid little man, you have never seen me say I believe in the rapture and where did this statement come from, it has nothing to do with the OP or what has been recently said. Do you even know what the raptureist claim without looking it up on the web, of coarse not, that would be ridiculous of me to even think so. How do I know this, because the end times are discussed many times. As long as you keep your head in the toilet bowl you will never be any better than you are now.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

God proved his worth on the Cross. When christ hung, bled, shit and died, it was god saying to the world, 'fuck ya.'

The icing on the cake now would be GC coming back with "I'm not drunk!"

I can dream...
