But the Steelers have the toughest schedule next year. Our starting OLB just "retired" at 26 years old.
Ike Taylor, Troy Polamalu, Brett Keisel, James Harrison, and likely Brice McCain are all UFA and either cut or haven't been signed on defense.
Le'Veon Bell will be suspended for 2 games for his little weed joyride with LeGarette Blount. We do not have a back on the team that can carry those 2 games.
The defense is now one of the youngest units in the league after being touted as the oldest for years. Dick Lebeau is gone.
I'm worried.

Just heard Cowherd talking about the trend of early retirement in the NFL and the lack of participation in youth football. He is predicting a decline in the game, starting with college up to the NFL over the next 10 or so years. It makes sense, but damn I love this sport.
Even though Gore is an older RB I think Indy has done the best job so far. I am not an Indy homer btw my team is the Denver Broncos!

I like Tomlinson as a coach, and think he's one of those guys who can make a lot of hay out of a little grass.

I think you gotta hand it to either the Bills or the Seahawks as the biggest winners so far.
If Indy wraps up Andre Johnson I'll give them a nod.
If Seattle has Jimmy Graham on that stupid ass play from the 1 yard line in the SB, I think they're repeat champions. They filled in the hole in the Legion of Boom.
The Bills got Shady McCoy, Matt Cassell, a good FB to lead block for Shady. They have one of the best young receivers in the league, a good defense, and some good competition/leadership for E.J. Manuel. They are also meeting with Charles Clay today. Kyle Rudolph and Charles Clay as a TE corps would be solid.

It is not the same game I grew up loving -- and playing, one year in Pop Warner, two in high school -- and I haven't liked the direction of the game over the last decade and more.

Nice.
The Steelers linebacker who retired at 26 left the NFL to be a Jehovah's Witness.

Gotta give it to the Colts.
Making a Super Bowl run in the right now. Andy Luck is going to have some weapons. TY, Frank Gore, Andre Johnson, Coby Fleener...
I like their style.
It'll take another 6 TD game out of Ben to beat them again...

DeMarco Murray flying to Philly, meets with the Eagles tomorrow. Chip Kelly is a mad-scientist
“Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?”
