I think these ads just balance the scales. My hope is that the young and/or the disallusioned see this and appreciate that there is a strong alternative view shared by many.

No God = No Allah... or am I missing something?
The "something" is that in the uk, christians feel that other religions, usually muslim, get preferential treatment/more respect.
They ignore the possibility that atheists have got it right.
HuhA man is born to a virgin mother, lives, dies, comes alive again and then disappears into the clouds to become his Dad. How likely is that?

And no matter what the sign said they would all think we were specifically targeting them and being unfair. It's part of their defence mechanisim, if they aren't the ones in charge of law they whine to those who are everytime the slightest thing is said against them, or even gets close to doing so.

I know of one guy who has strong opinions on the treatment of muslims here in the UK Tongue

But yeah, if the bus said "There is probably no Allah. Stop beating your wives" there would be an absolute uproar...

For those of you who don't know, Ronald Heather is the Christian bus driver who refused to drive a bus with the 'There's Probably No God' message on the side.

This may, or may not, be his C.V. Wink Shades

I know Richard Dawkins complained that they chose the word "probably" instead of just saying "There are no God" but then perhaps people would find it to be more aggressive and be negative about it.

He didn't want "There are no God"

He wanted "There almost certainly is no God".
