I think these ads just balance the scales. My hope is that the young and/or the disallusioned see this and appreciate that there is a strong alternative view shared by many.

And no matter what the sign said they would all think we were specifically targeting them and being unfair. It's part of their defence mechanisim, if they aren't the ones in charge of law they whine to those who are everytime the slightest thing is said against them, or even gets close to doing so.

I know Richard Dawkins complained that they chose the word "probably" instead of just saying "There are no God" but then perhaps people would find it to be more aggressive and be negative about it.

He didn't want "There are no God"
He wanted "There almost certainly is no God".
