What dream did you just have?

Something about a six hour layover at Sky Harbor (PHX). I forget the rest, but I was irritated. But not for the most obvious reasons.

Bad bad dream during a nap this morning. Dreamt that I saw my oldest daughter playing outside of a group home, after not having been able to see her for a few years. I spoke to one of the staff there and told her that J was my child and asked if I could give her a hug. I went to hug her and realized that I was hugging the wrong child and that my child was talking with other residents. I totally mistook my own daughter for someone else because I hadn't seen her in such a long time. Asked the staff why she was there and was told she lived there now. Glad it was only a dream, but in reality, it is a very REAL fear because my ex would be the kind of asshole to do something like that to her. Woke up from that crying and feeling like shit. I miss my kid and I hate having upsetting dreams like that. It totally sets my day off.

I've been watching The Walking Dead right before bed for the last week or so so I've been having weird survivalist dreams. I don't remember them, except that I know they haven't explicitly involved zombies, but I know that they haven't been nightmares but that they have been intense enough for me to wake up sweaty, which doesn't usually happen when I have just normal, weird dreams.

The first dream tonight started in my school. My PE teacher gathered us in a classroom and told us to play volleyball with a balloon and then walked away. I don't remember how exactly, but it then managed to change to me being a spy on a boat, killing people.

Then I woke up and fell asleep again.

The second dream started as a nightmare about rotting bodies in barrels, but I realised I was dreaming twice and tried to change it. Eventually it turned out to be about flying gypsy mermaids who played hide and seek and conquered their fears. What. The. Fuck.

Freaky Norman! I've had dreams sort of like those.

I've had a very similar dream multiple times. I go back to school, and start studying for my GCSEs again. I know full well I already did them years ago and passed them. Everything gets really stressful, I'm always disorganised, late for everything, the layout of the buildings keeps changing... I'm getting so fed up, and I'm thinking why am I doing this? What's the point when I already have these certificates right at home? And so I decide I'm going to stop.

I've been watching the Walking Dead and have had several "survival" themes dreams, but last night I had my first proper zombie dream. I don't remember a whole lot of it except that I was running around with a bunch of zombies, then at the end I sort of zoomed out of my body to look at myself and I was a zombie, too.

I woke up shortly after thinking "Hey, I finally had that zombie dream!" and then fell back asleep and dreamed something else that I don't remember at all.

I've had a few weird ones since the last time I wrote on here.

One was I was having sex with a girl who looked a lot like my friends girlfriend.  I think she said something nasty about me, for some reason I had shit on my cock from fucking another girl in the ass and I was thinking her sucking my cock and tasting this shit was my way of getting my own back.

I had another one where I was getting a tattoo of my own free will but it was all over my body making me nearly all black and some guy was stroking my skin and saying something like "Yes we will get all that skin lovely and black".

The next one I was chasing girls dressed in provocative school uniforms around an old museum full of stairs which I know I've dreamt about before and its always very similar to a set of stairs that exists in the local disused library near me.

I had a dream were most of the world is atheist and the theists were really crazy plotting to force us to believe in god doing acts of terrorism.

I had a dream last night in which I was being clawed by my mother's cat. When I awoke, I found that my SO was digging her fingernails into my wrist in her sleep (apparently she was having a bad dream). I have these nice crescent-shaped nail marks on my wrist today.

I had a dream recently where I went to an international space station to start my life off as an intergalactic astronaut/explorer. The station was in the middle of nowhere but there were vast highways coming in from all different directions from different parts of the world full of cars coming and going. It was like an Interstellar airport (these are the dreams I wish were premonitions of the future because based off the tech they were still using, my dream couldn't be placed more than a decade or two in the future and yet from what I could infer, people were able to get there from all over the globe in a matter of hours by car) and holy shit was it marvelous to behold -I tell you, the imagination is a powerful thing. The whole thing was on a platform dozens of acres in size suspended in the air hundreds of feet above a immense desert and I stood outside the entrance just as a shuttle took off in the fashion of an airplane, not vertically like we do now. The roar of its thrusters was deafening and worried a little about hearing damage.

Unfortunately I woke up before I found out if I passed the tests to even get through the door (literally, right outside the door were three tests you had to pass just for it to open which I was certain I failed) but it left me wondering if I might ever explore space in this lifetime.
