Understanding evolution does not require Allah, or Vishnu, or Thor or Jesus. Evolution is a science and does not need a god of the gaps of any label to explain the process.

I also explained in evolutionary psychological terms why god claims and religions pop up, and you skipped that part.

Humans make bad guesses as to the nature of reality, THAT is why god claims and religions pop up. Because humans are notoriously flawed in their perceptions. No different a mistake a kid would make at Halloween mistaking the covered bowl of olives in the dark room as eyeballs.

Humans fill in the gaps because it makes them feel good, it feels right, but it is a false perception, nothing more.

No its not the same.
We don't believe in god because there is no evidence.
You don't believe in evolution despite the evidence.

Also the default position if evolution was wrong (it isn't) is not "god did it" but "we don't know".
