With all the turmoil around here I haven't been able to keep up with Gun Nut Nation's apparently never-ending war on itself in the pursuit of gun shot wounds to keep themselves "safe."

Today's recap of the toll from April 2 to now stands at:

13 dead, 34 wounded and 7 captured ( as in arrested by police for not being careful with their guns.) Curiously, there are several instances of cops not being careful with their guns and shooting themselves or other cops but they seem to get a pass on the arrest criteria. Surprise, surprise.

There is one good thing about gun violence; it shows how poorly mental health issues are being adressed in America. Notice how people never seem to really care about mental illness until someone goes around on a shooting spree?
