I don't see that as discrimination - I wouldn't marry someone who was a social conservative. Or have a long-term relationship with them.

More importantly, I wouldn't want to try a romantic relationship with a person who believes I deserve to be tortured forever. Feels like that's kind of a dick move to  start off day one of a relationship with.

Yeah, that would kinda put a damper on the romance, although I can think of a few fetish games to play.

There are various things I decided are so important to me in a long term partner, that there's just no point in even trying to be with someone who doesn't fit them. I don't think that's "bigoted". I'm not talking about superficial things, although if people want to limit themselves by superficial requirements that's up to them as far as I'm concerned. You have no obligation or duty to date people. "Dating people equally" doesn't really make sense.

I don't look down on the people who don't meet the criteria, I just recognise we are incompatible.

I found online dating was the best (and perhaps only!) thing for me, as I could write all this stuff on my profile.

What the OP basically said trough a more complex literary style is that "I don't like my girlfriend having experiences with others before me because she must be pure otherwise she's a dirty slut".

I was called a bigot today for not wanting to date theists. True story.
Sleepy

I don't know if the particular theists you were talking to  are Christians but according to their bible they aren't supposed to date unbelievers

Quote:2 Corinthians 6:14
Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?

I don't think I'd yoke anyone on a first date anyhow.

Does that passage imply not even being friends with us atheist twats? Depends on what you want it to say, I suppose.

This. Otherwise, most newbs posts are tl'dr in my mind, even if they're just ten words long. I'm not crazy about strangers.

There was only one permitted way to yoke an infidel, and it usually entails long unpaid work hours in the agricultural sector.

1) I don't see how he can be shaming a person who nobody knows, on the radio if a celebrity talks about another celebrity and they don't want to shame them they usually say something like "I won't say the guys name."  I don't see how it's shaming if no one knows her.  She won't feel ashamed if she finds these things on the forum because either she did them and she knows she did them or he's lying about it, in which case she still has no reason to be ashamed because no one knows on here that he's talking about her and she didn't do them anyway.
2) There was no shaming language used to begin with, he just listed the things she did.  He has an issue with these specific things but he didn't say these things are horrible, slutty, dirty or anything like that.

I'm not interested in arguing with you over the semantics of how the OP was written.

Bottom line: He disrespected his girlfriend not once but twice in two different forums. Whether or not he said her name or where they lived is not the issue. He posted personal, intimate information that she shared with him, on a public forum for others to critique. Clearly he has issues and should probably seek some sort of professional help if he has these sort of deep seeded issues over his girlfriend's past. He brought it here and to TTA seeking out opinions and when he didn't get the advice/opinions that he wanted, he insulted the intelligence of those who responded.

I don't see how disagreeing with someones lifestyle and talking about it on a forum is being disrespectful.

If an atheist on this website posted that they were in a relationship with a Muslim and they didn't realize at first how serious they were about being a Muslim and their religion in general would you complain and call them islamophobic and be outraged over their disrespect of their Muslim boyfriend?

I have a friend who's mother cheated on her husband with the husbands brother.  Also the persons actual brother has had multiple stripper girlfriends and STDs.  It doesn't matter that I'm giving you this info because you don't know me, you don't know my friend, it just simply doesn't matter.
I could type down 4 random numbers and they will probably be someones bank card pin details and so again I'll be giving you private information about someone you don't know but it effects no one.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

And if you had an intimate conversation with a loved one in a private setting, and the first thing that loved one did is turn around and regurgitate the details of that conversation to a group of strangers in order to justify his breaking up with you, instead of talking to you directly... you don't see how any part of that might be disrespectful?
