This is exactly the type of abjugation of responsibility that I was referring to earlier. Mystic, you can't just dismiss the beliefs of fellow muslims with a 'No True Scotsman' when they have justifications from the same holy texts in which you believe, delivered from the same god in which you believe. Do you see how divisive your statement is and how it undermines the basis of your own beliefs?

And Allan is incapable of removing these dark forces I suppose to stop people bickering and killing each other?

If I was that Allan dude I wouldn't put up with some crummy dark force screwing up my messages.

Oh, he WILL remove the dark forces, Rob, he will! You just have to wait until you're dead to find out that what appeared to be obvious balogna was actually "miraculous." Then he will grant all of the people, like Mystic, in whom the good forces dwelled, beautiful maidens who deliver fruit baskets and keep the "true" Muslims happy in the next life while they go about... doing... fun stuff.

Hang on, if even Muhammad had trouble with Satan, and could not tell the difference between a message from Allah and one from Iblis, what makes you think the layman will fare any better? The Satanic Verses story is firmly imbedded in the (Sunni) Hadith. This story may or may not be in Shia Hadith; I have not taken the time to read any Shia Hadith, though I have translations downloaded, I think. I wonder if I can find Ibadi Hadith; the more Hadith the story is in, the harder it is to dispel.
You'd think Allah would protect Muhammad, the most important amoung all of the messengers. Having said that, the Quran does claim that every prophet will have enemies sent to them by Allah. Could these dark forces you speak of, MysticKnight, include people such as Abdul Wahaab and other Sunni Fascists? I have a lot of respect for Ahmadiyyas, Shias and Ibadis because they take a lot of crap from Fascist Sunnis that wish they were extinct.
Quran 6:112 Likewise did We make for every Messenger an enemy,- evil ones among men and jinns, inspiring each other with flowery discourses by way of deception. If thy Lord had so planned, they would not have done it: so leave them and their inventions alone.
These are the original Satanic Verses:
Have ye thought upon Al-Lat and Al-‘Uzzá
and Manāt, the third, the other?
These are the exalted gharāniq, whose intercession is hoped for.
The Quran was subsequently changed, but the names of the three goddesses remain in the Quran, as an allusion to what happened:
Quran 53:19 - 20:
Have ye thought upon Al-Lat and Al-'Uzza (19)
And another, the third (goddess), Manat? (20)

When you think you're absolutely certain and can't be wrong, that's when satan has you by the BALLS.

Sunnis consider those hadiths weak and not trustworthy. Shias don't have those hadiths.

Lol. This is the exact same game Christians play.

"That verse isn't in the original."
"We don't have to follow that command anymore."
"It doesn't mean what everyone else thinks it means!"
"There's a lot of disagreement with how to interpret that one..."
"We have to go with what the apostles thought."
"See, that translation is bad."

Ad nauseum.

What you will never find these spin doctors doing is offering valid and sound reasons as to why they're more correct than the next guy.

How do you know so much that you go telling people who believe in the Quran that their interpretation is wrong and the minority of terrorists have the right interpretation?
How about there is no true interpretation because it is fiction.  There is just each individual's interpretation, either from reading or the one  they've been told.

The problem is not the Quran but that there are dark forces that want to prevent people from following the Quran properly. Jinn?  For fuck's sake, grow up.
