What if the presidency, Congress, and Supreme Court are controlled by Republicans. From the midterm elections this year, and 8 years of the presidency starting in 2012.

It seems to me that Americans are asking for it. There is a large and highly motivated Republican base, and independents are doing Democrats no favors. The Democratic base is plagued with apathy and resentment.
