I have an Xbox 360 as my main gaming thingy. Currently I'm playing Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag. It's absolutely brilliant. Finally, ninja pirates! All kinds of awesome. Can't afford the next gen stuff, and frankly I've got plenty more titles to play on the 360 before I feel the need to upgrade. I have Saints Row 4 lined up for my next game and GTA 5 which I have played part way and is great.
I also play on my iPad, I love Hearthstone and I play lots of free2play stuff.
I've been a gamer since the age of about 5 and I doubt I'll ever stop.

I think, because I like to see creativity and ingenuity set within strict boundaries. Like, "What are all the interesting and fun things we can do, without straying outside of these limits?" And I've rarely seen that with top-down scroll shooters.
That game does sound fun though.

That means you can't be older than about 43 I think.
I remember I was about 4 or 5 when a local restaurant had table-top Pong. A couple years later, and it was Donkey Kong, Space Invaders, etc. Good time to be a boy, methinks.

I personally love playing those games, Benny. Even though I played them well after their release (decades after), they are still fun to play.

Hi five snake
Yeah I'm 38. I started on a "games console" called Phillips G7000. I loved that thing. Then came the Commodore 64, somewhat of a love affair! Then the Amiga, nes, supernes, mega drive, n64, PS, PS2 and finally 360. Also had game boy, wii, 2DS and maybe I forgot something
I lived for arcade games too, I played them any chance I got. When I was old enough I'd spend all day in there. I still get all fuzzy inside thinking about the rush I felt in an arcade. Now when I walk past them my inner child wants to run in all excited but the withered cynical adult knows it won't be like it used to be, it will be mainly fruit machines with the odd driving/shooting/dancing game. Gone are the days where the arcade dwarfed what you could reasonably play on at home.
Street fighter 2 and shinobi... Probably the games which stir up the most memories for me. I played every arcade game I could get my hands on though pretty much.

Top-down scrolling game?... like Touhou?
Also, I'm playing World of Tanks, an MMO about... errr... tanks, specifically tanks from WW-I to WW-II.
Look my nick up on the European server
And Unreal Tournament (the 1999 version), sometimes in the server [UT] Freestyle-SNIPER unrealteam.de .

Recently I haven't played a whole lot of video games. However, I do have my Macbook, PS4, 3DS, and I still have my old GameBoy Advance SP.
I have heard good things about World of Tanks, as well as Clash of Clans. But I refuse to ever even touch the latter of those games.

Yeah, like,Touhou, but a lot less fucking ridiculous. Haha That shit looks nuts.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."
For context, this is the previous verse:
"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

I played 2k4 a lot, was as close to videogame crack as I've ever gotten.
