Quick Poll - Do you believe in God?
RE: Quick Poll - Do you believe in God?
A special kind of "science", moreover, that has consistently failed to tell us what is in the green box.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Physically speaking we got all sort of limitation because this universe is finite in nature so this type of science can only find answers related to this physical world.
As i said before to go outside these limitations you need a different type of science.  Lightbulb
You are going in circles.  We have been through this before.  You speak of a "science" that cannot be researched, tested, compared, or verified, by your own definition.  Your science is the science of nonsense.  Anyone can make any claims about it, backed by "feelings" and "intuition."  No claims regarding your science can be proved or disproved, and therefore all claims regarding it are valid.  This is the old theist ploy: as science discovers more and learns more and finds no gods or spirits, you find deeper and deeper holes to hide them in.  Having run out of hiding places in the physical world, you make up a whole new dimension in which to hide your gods.  Poor, poor gods, being grabbed roughly by the arm and dragged from one gap to another.  I'm sure that if you'd stop shoving them around they'd be happy to stop and say hi.

You are not correct Ton.
This science can be experienced anytime by anyone.
The only problem is that you got to be positive.
I remember when i try to learn how to swim.
I just could not believe that i would stay afloat if i let myself go where i couldn't touch.
This despite i saw with my eyes that so many people around me swim very well.
But at the end i let myself go and i swam.
I overcome my fear and i succeed.
Intuitional science follow similar pattern.
To most people it sound like bullshit because their grip with the material world is too strong.
It is only when you realize that the world of matter take you nowhere that you are ready to try
the world of pure consciousness.
But of course if you haven't yet reach this stage you are not ready to let yourself go
and obviously you will keep on thinking that it doesn't make any sense to try.  Lightbulb

Let us say that none of us can prove whether the universe is finite or not or that consciousness is a product of the brain or the other way around.
Let us instead talk about what make sense and what doesn't.
Man (man and woman) can control the five elements that make up the universe (matter, water, light, air and space) so from this we can deduce that
the universe is not superior to man and therefore is limited in nature.
Now the next question arise.
Can something limited be infinite?
Think about, and think seriously so you will not come up with the usual bullshit.
Now the next question.
Is consciousness a product of matter or the other way around?
Let us see.
Do you tell your car where to go or the car dictate you where to go?
Can the matter dictate you what to do or you decide what to do.
Think about it mate and then think again before you come up with more pepperoni.  Hi Demon Hi

Like I said, you're going in circles.  In any case, you only really confirmed what I said (after claiming that I was not correct); intuitional science can only be experienced if you believe that you are experiencing it.  Unless you reach your conclusion first, you will keep 'missing' it.  And since no one can challenge your claimed experiences (which leave absolutely no trace, conveniently enough) you can prattle on and on about it and pretend that you're on to something.

Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. You know Stim that i am always afraid to look at you straight in the eyes or even ask questions to you as this would show my total ignorance.
I deeply apologize if in the past i did asked you what is the meaning of philosophy or who qualify to be a philosopher.
You obviously didn't answer my question and i quite understand.
Why such an intelligent person like you would waste his precious time dealing with such low caste like me?
Now i fully understand my silliness.
Anyway Stim coming back to the magic box i have been told that to find out what is in the box is quite possible for someone who follow avidya tantra but not
possible for someone who follow vidya tantra.
I obviously don't ask you what is the difference among the two as you would already know this.
Sorry once again if i take some of your precious time.  I'm Sorry

Sorry Ton but you are wrong once again when you say.......which leave absolutely no trace.
It certainly leave more that a trace but only in the consciousness of those who practice this science.
Why would leave a trace in anyone who doesn't make any effort in achieving this state of mind?
Like anything in life you got to fight for if you want to achieve something.
Is this concept so difficult to understand?
Does your boss give a wage for doing nothing?
Does your local shop give free food?
Does anyone give you a free house?
You never thought about it Ton, did you?  Demon

I know, i know but i just wasn't sure when the karma law would pop up when Stim said...........Like the new name there, Rik. Is that a silent 'p' or did you misspell it?
.........so i thought to speed it up in the meantime.  I'm Sorry

What you are saying is "it does leave a trace, but only I can see it-- trust me!"  That is so useless as to be no trace at all.  And once again, you are going back to the idea that god won't show himself unless I 'let' him.  A god like that is equally useless.  And on top of that you go right back to the idea that you will only find this evidence if you first convince yourself it's there.  Doesn't any of this leave you at least a bit suspicious about the qualities of this god, or spirit, or "science"?  That the only way to interact with any of them is to pretend that they exist?

Let's cut to the chase, rikky. Using your intuitional 'science', what's in the box?

It can be a magic one, if you want.

Sorry Ton but you are wrong again.
Have you ever seen representation of saints with the aureola on the top of the head?
What you think it means?
Do you know what the aura is?

http://www.anandaclaritymagazine.com/200...magnetism/

http://www.summitlighthouse.org/inner-pe...f-a-saint/

http://mysticson.blogspot.com.au/2007/06...aints.html

Auras are real phenomena which can be perceived by sentient people.
God is pure consciousness and this pure consciousness is achievable by anybody who wish.
By reducing the radius that separate your consciousness from God consciousness your
consciousness become similar to God consciousness until there is not any difference and
you are God.
Like a drop of water that merge in the big ocean will become the ocean itself and the vibrations
that form the aureola are pure bright light so if you are a sentient person you can see this light emanating from
more sentient people like the saints.
It is a lot easier to see a dark light emanating from bad people than the aura from a saints if we are not
sentient ourselves so no wonder that most people can only see the dark side of the aura as most people are not sentient themselves.  Demon
