Quick Poll - Do you believe in God?
|
Just tossing it out there. So... being a carnivore? I eat meat and for many years I performed spiritual practices, so I guess I should be radiating a halo or aura. No one seems to be able to see it, though. Not even me. If the only requirements are eating meat and performing spiritual activities, shouldn't most people on the world glow so much that we wouldn't need street lamps?
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
-Stephen Jay Gould
Again, dikdik, the point evades you. It's not a question of whether the experiment interests you - you've made claims about the superiority of your "intuitional science" over the regular kind. I have asked you on repeated occasions to put it to the test, to demonstrate it in action, and you've stalled each time with a choking smokescreen of red herring and ad hominem. There's only one conclusion to be drawn at this point: the emperor, for all his protestations of being a fashion icon, is naked.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
Lets see, do I believe in gods?

I am interested in that kind of intuition that make me realize that i am God not that intuition that allow you to see inside a box. Unfortunately your weak intuition make you believe that all intuitions must lead to guess things related to physical object. Intuitional science is all about discovering your inner self. Who you really are. I certainly said that intuitional science is superior to anything else. We live in a physical world made of matter so it obvious that the consciousness is superior to matter and because of this by working on the consciousness you create more progress than if you would work on the matter. Can the vehicle be superior to the driver? Can this world made of matter be superior to the human consciousness? Of course not, that is why by developing the consciousness you are much better off than if you would concentrating on the matter and your magic boxes. I never said that intuitional science is all about to tell you what is inside boxes. On the contrary is all about discovering your real inner self but your poor intuition twist all around. By the way i still wait to hear from you about the meaning of philosophy and who qualify to be a philosopher. Do you think i will get an answer by the next Christmas? I mean 2015 Christmas not 2051 Christmas.
I have no reason to think there is a god, nor want a god.

It is by NOT eating meat and doing spiritual practices that you may develop the capacity to see auras and to build an aura yourself. Progress come when you do a step forward not follow by a step backward. By practicing spirituality you do one step forward and by eating meat you do a step backward so at the end you find yourself in the same place and the progress is impossible. Capish?
Can we freeze the poll? 666 no votes.

Rik seems to spend a lot of time banging his head.
This could explain a lot. You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid. Tinkety Tonk and down with the Nazis. |
