The US Army is to reduce the size of its force by 40,000 soldiers over the next two years, according to US media.
The cost-cutting exercise will also see an additional 17,000 civilian employees cut from the army.

I'd vote for Bernie over Donald any day and time of the week. I would love nothing more than to have an opportunity to vote for Bernie Sanders in a presidential election; however, no reasonable person can expect either one of them on the ballot.

The reason for my previous comment was cathartic in a way realizing that the vast majority of us, despite the best intentions of those that gave serious consideration to how this republic was formed or the musings of an observant Frenchman with time on his hands and plenty of ink in the early 19th century, are imbeciles that give more consideration as to whether or not to go commando to work than any significant consideration as to who will be the next President.

I'm sure Hillary felt that way in 2008 about a little-known opponent named Barack Obama. Like Bernie, he too seemed to energize the democratic base in ways that Sanders is doing now.

Democrats will vote for Hillary.  But she does not have the 'wow' factor.

Not that Elizabeth Warren has expressed any interest, but if Sanders announced his intention to have Warren on the ticket with him in the event he got the nomination (and if Warren was amenable to the idea), I think Clinton's campaign would be in a world of trouble.
