My take is : we are hitting the boundaries of the VR sandbox.
The day we prove we are in a VR is the day we break free from it...
Not even sure if we will like what we find.
There have been many blows to mankind's ego over the centuries.
This one may be the most humbling....

That is the million dollar question what is there outside of the VR. 
Then the next thing would be if die in the VR what is death does this mean were dead?
Then the next million dollar question who or what is the true self. If this is a VR world and or 
simulation that means the true self isn't in this world but outside of it hooked up to who knows
what. Then the other problem with that would be do we even have a true self at all meaning are we
or are we not A.I. that would be the one question we would want to find out.

This is a simulation. If I try and add 75%c to 50%c I get a buffer overflow error and it defaults to 100%c.

Also the "fog of war" regarding quantum mechanics; it doesn't load in what actually happens until something needs to know, to save processing power.

It's obviously a simulation. And I'd also like the difficulty turned down please. Or up, whatever.

Concerning the OP, can I ask for the meaning of words again, please? What is the dfference of reality existing and not existing - what do these things mean? I have no idea, actually, but I think I can safely say that it is not a question of physics...

did you see the links i posted about this. 

In a lab they were testing particles when they weren't observed they didn't exist and then when they were observed they existed.
