The Last Movie You Watched
RE: The Last Movie You Watched
'The Prince', an utter piece of dreck with Bruce Willis and Jason Patric.

I liked it better when it starred Liam Neeson and Famke Janssen and was called 'Taken'.

That reminds me of an idea for a movie I had once: an old man wakes up to find a pug puppy on his doorstep. It has telepathic powers and announces that it will make all his dreams come true, but on one condition: "Give Me Sex."

The Highwaymen on Netflix was pretty decent. Nothing mind-blowing about it but a decent Bonnie & Clyde flick. I like that it didn't focus on Bonnie & Clyde but rather the officers who were pursuing them.

7/10

Clockwork Orange... yes, from 1971.
They're screening it in a few UK cinemas this week for some reason... and since I had never seen it... why not do it now?

Good film.  Did you happen to spot Darth Vader?

Don't remember that one...
I did spot an LP for sale of the 2001 Space odyssey soundtrack... a movie by the same director.

Sorry, I was having a laugh.  Remember near the end of the film when Alex is taken in by the old man in the wheelchair (from earlier)?  His big, muscle-bound assistant ('Jules', I think) was played by David Prowse.

Ohhh.... yeah, no... I'm terrible with names... good with faces, though. So that explains it!

The Silence

Quote:When the world is under attack from terrifying creatures who hunt their human prey by sound, 16-year old Ally Andrews (Kiernan Shipka), who lost her hearing at 13, and her family seek refuge in a remote haven.

It looks like a cheap ripoff of A Quiet Place, but it has Kiernan Shipka (from Chillling Adventures of Sabrina) in it so I'm checking it out nonetheless.

Not a bad movie, actually.

When you said silence I thought it was that "new" Scorsese movie about priests because it would be more fun to hear you suffer through that.

True.

Watched that without falling asleep this time. It had nothing to do with the movie, just general exhaustion after the weekend.

I don't think Ralph Wrecks the Internet was as good as the original, but it had some great parts i give it 6.5 to 7.

Perfect review. Some movies don't leave any impression on a viewer other than a number and that is one of those movies.
