The Last Movie You Watched
RE: The Last Movie You Watched

I saw the original, Ju-on, in the theater. I slept with the lights on for several nights afterward. And when I got the DVD, I repeated sleeping with the lights on for the better part of a week. Granted, I'm kind of a horror wimp, but that movie got to me. (I've also seen the 2000 video release, which is a different movie, but don't remember it well enough to comment. The scene below is from that.)

The Falls

Quote:The Falls is a feature film about two missionaries that fall in love while on their mission. RJ travels to a small town in Oregon with Elder Merrill to serve their mission and teach the words of Joseph Smith. Living together and sharing the challenge of leaving home, the two men help each other discover their strengths. They share a passion for their faith and learn to express their feelings, risking the only community they have for a forbidden intimacy.

I saw "The World's End" the other day. Extremely entertaining, weird, and....definitely not predictable. Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright have succeeded in making another awesome comedy. However, I still prefer Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz.

Ah.. watched it a few days ago too.
Liked the hints at STII - The Wrath of Khan.
Thought it too much of a stretch to put Chekov in the chief engineer's position... aren't there other engineers who could raise to the occasion?

Overall, good entertainment, which is what's expected! Smile

I went out to see The Way Way Back yesterday. Pretty good. Not mindblowing, but the dynamic between the autistic boy and AnnaSophia Robb's character was cute.
