I feel sorry for playing a trick on everyone just now. I really don't think of myself like that, or, at least, not anymore if I ever did. I thought I'd just remind everyone what a great guy I've become in the meanwhile that I don't feel the need to say stuff like that anymore 

I guess my sense of humour is a little crazy.

The only thing that really ever bothered me about you was you came off as smug with an air of superiority. You are a smart guy, and I don't doubt you're the smartest guy in the room at least part of the time. That's all good - it was just when you seemed to want everyone else to think they're stupid that I found offensive.

I don't know what your true personality is like but I do find you quote likeable when you make an effort to do so. I don't know if you care about that, but it is what it is.

That was an emotional response. It may not have been pretty, but it was genuine. I'd think someone could at least appreciate that.

Do I think so at an intellectual level? Of course not. But then, this thread isn't about what you think, it's about what you feel. I can't control how I feel.

You cannot control it, but you can steer it and affect it.

Of course, you have to want to.

Me, I don't really care what you think of me ... or yourself, for that matter. Do what you have to do to make it through the day, and don't be a dick to me, we'll get along. (General you, not you in particular).
