Yes, at least it's our take on it.

50/50 ground beef and ground lamb. Use the good stuff. Minced garlic and onion. Chopped parsley. Salt. Ground coriander, cumin, black pepper, cayenne, cinnamon, allspice, and ginger.

This is the basic recipe we used.

It's really good on pita with the usual tomato and onion, tzatziki, feta, et al and even on my diet Imma have seconds.

Well as I'm sure you know exercise can significantly increase your calorie budget. I did o over 30 miles in the last four days, so I have plenty to use.

Woke up hungry (surprise, surprise), so I'm having a two-egg omelette with tomato, bell pepper, mushroom, green onion, and cheese. Little bit o' hot sauce, and some lovely coffee ... hittin' the spot.
