Cooked my first supper in ages that wasn't just a salad last night. Simple still though. A quarter pound each of skinless chicken thigh sautéed in olive oil, baked pearl potatoes coated in olive oil and steamed broccoli. Won't win any creativity awards for that but enjoyed it all the same with a small glass of red wine.

What are you cooking/eating right now?

Watermelon while lounging on the couch, because it has 9something °F outside, and that's way too much for my Germanic body to do anything else.

I'm with you, 90 anything Fahrenheit is too much for activity. But I think you may be the exception.
I remember camping in Death Valley here in California one spring back when we used to do a lot of camping out. There was an enormous contingent of German tourists and I was surprised to learn this is a popular destination for them. There is a public swimming pool which must be refrigerated to keep it at all pleasant. Even in the spring it was pretty danged hot and we never camped there again.
Those were not True Germans

Lol you people.
Made pasta and opened a jar of my locally famous sauce. Seriously considering marketing my sauce. I need more testers though before I embark on such an attempt. Disclaimer: I am only responsible for what I say, not what you choose to understand.
Cooking related:
ordered a Thermapen cooking thermometer like they use on Cook's Country. Picked white to match most all my other gadgetry. They are not kidding, the response time of this thermometer is SUPER fast. Had it since Christmas, finally got far enough along with kitchen work to unwrap it. Nice piece of technology, 2 thumbs up. The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
Nothing.
Why is that, exactly, Thena Sr.?
Xtreme Cooking this afternoon. I made a pot of beef stew (Dutch oven and cubed blade steak FTW!) and a batch of these: Carrot Ginger Pork Buns. Opted for the "pan fry first, then dump in some water and steam 'em" cooking method, and it turned out really well.
Got tired of waiting, so I went and bought a Master Blast from Sonic.
Wasn't hungry after that. Boy, Thena Sr.'s rage was palpable. I barely escaped with my life!
Crock potted the Cranberry Pork and Pomegranate Lamb today. Cranberry Pork, meh... Still needs some recipe tweaking but way better than last time. Pomegranate Lamb... OMFG this is one of the best things I have ever tasted. Rich and hearty with a bit of sweetness and a nice tangy zing.
