This is what happens when you have sustained years of anti-establishment rhetoric for society at large. It should be no surprise really that he's been elected considering the anti-intellectualism rampant on the right and left in western democracies.
I put a bet on 50% voter share on Trump, at least I'll hopefully be quids in. ^_^

Agreed. Won't make the blindest bit of difference, well, unless you're a Muslim I guess.
Or a Latin, or a black, or an Asian, or any shade of colour that doesn't translate into a bad shade of sunburn the first day of summer.
And that goes for citizens too. Expect voting righs laws to be weakened, civil liberties laws to be weakened, corporate governance laws to be gotten rid of and so many other things that can allow Americans to say they live in a democracy with some hope of being right.
