Everything. You said, "In the 20th century the human race killed more people than any century in the past.".
I said, "There are more people. It is not the numbers, but the percentage that is a valid comparison.".
If the human race only killed off 2% of the 7,000,000,000 people on earth today, that would be 14,000,000 people which is more than what was probably alive back then. If back then, they killed 5% of the population, even though the number is significantly lower, they had killed more percentage wise so today, we are getting better.
