I find it an interesting exercise imagining that everything really is God because it puts a completely different perspective on things. For example, I've had measles, chickenpox, colds and flu during the course of my life. All the viruses which caused those illnesses were manifestations of God.

According to yoga YOU are God.
Not 100% aware that you are God of course that is why in order to be aware that you are it is important
to go through the physical-mental-spiritual struggle and fight.
This punishment can take the form of all the trouble that you mention or different type of trouble but that is the way to learn and progress.
Without the fight nothing is achieved.
This is the scientific approach.
There is no other way around.
Quote:I just wish that God would stop manifesting as dust on the furniture.
This is an other mental exercise that we all have to go through.
As soon as you start to see God in all his manifestation the bad will turn into good.
In AM. there is the second lesson that teach how everything and everybody is a manifestation of God.

Not because NDEs are not real but because they have to be related to individual experiences.
What is necessary for one can not be necessary for other.
Some people need a longer stay in this dimension so they can do more work.
Other people need a new body to continue their journey to the goal of life so there is no need
for them to go through an NDE teaching.
Quote:I think the content of NDEs is important here. They are life changing experiences for many people. According to Ananda Marga, a unit mind without a body is dormant so can't learn anything else until it acquires a new body. If this is true it's logical to assume that someone having an NDE is still in their body.
If it is true that humans can only grasp less that 1 % of what is there then it is obvious that we can not possibly comprehend what according to God is logical and what is not.
I wouldn't really draw any conclusion in this regard.
