I might make everything perfect, but then people would have no chance or incentive to create their own perfection. So I’d make sure the planet had plenty of everything people needed to do that. I’d make them super intelligent so they’d not come to erroneous conclusions like wanting to benefit over other’s pain.

They’d be smart enough to have taught themselves how to travel to other planets so there’d be no population explosion.

Someone might say that by making humans super intelligent, I take away their free will. I’d have no choice. The connection between desire and anatomy is such that as designer of the body, I cannot escape the charge of manipulating the will. All I can do is design a body that is conducive to intelligent desires. Maybe I could let each person design his own body, but I wouldn’t put dummies on the same planet with smart people or those who want to do bad things on the same world with those who want to help others. No fire and brimstone punishment. Instead, you’d find yourself on a planet with people just like yourself.
