I can rarely talk about sex seriously. In the moment, ya, very focused, goal oriented, pleasure seeking. Outside the moment hilarious. The faces we make, the vocalizations, the contortions, the things we bring into the act. All I do is smile and laugh.
OK, seriously, in the beginning I think that controlling the sexual activities of women was all for ownership by men. Sorry ladies. Kind of "that's my woman and only I'm allowed to do that to her". A guarantee that the possessing man would have no rivals and that the offspring would be his. I believe that this occurs in and outside religion. Look at biker gangs and the "I'm property of" code. But inside religion, as time went on, all kinds of rituals and taboos were then built up around that premise. Unfortunately the religious "rules" did not take into account human drive to seek sexual pleasure. Thus the problems that exist today. The stud vs slut mentality. The prostitute as an outcast even thought it's the male that is the driving force in prostitution. (hilk hilk, I said driving, sorry) Keeping women in the home. The list goes on. Until women are allowed to have an even playing field in the sexual arena the negative societal issues will persist.
