I believe that the bible also had definitions of marriage that are completely illegal today such as taking and raping prisoners of war. That's looks like ultimate  vag control and not acceptable today.

I do believe that sex should be  treated with respect after all it made you and it made me but not with guilt and fear.

Once a couple is under the covenant of marriage then the only fear or boundries we have are set by each other.

I wonder if the religious books are more designed for the people that wont try to improve the way humanity treats one another.  You know like the laws that are made cause some idiot wouldn't listen to his/her better judgment.

Or maybe the bible really does reflect what God wants for us.

So it seems  to me then that the  biblical folks who wrote the bible (or God if you believe the fable) felt that only fear and guilt would stop people from having sex in an irresponceble manner.  Okay I get it now.

Or again, Sex is marriage is to help us understand the final emotional connection/love Christ has for the church, and why He died for us.

Your whole article hings on not a poll or any real data, but what the 'National Assoceation of Evangelicals' thinks is going on. Below in the wiki page is a link to the types of 'denomination' that belong to that organization.. At best lets say most of them are on the fringes of biblical Christianity.
