Can an atheist commit murder? Yes. Can an atheist be selfish? I give you Ayn Rand.

So to my theist counterparts, this is not an argument to claim "atheist" should act like a religion or political party.

I hate that Carter, and Malala, and King make claims I think are crap. But Ayn Rand also made claims that were crap.

The only reason to reject god claims, is lack of evidence. But it should be about claims, not human rights.

Well, the real issue here is not only do Christians commit these crimes, they on the whole and from the grass roots maintain the belief and propaganda that they are morally superior while swearing accusations on everyone they hate from atheist to pagans too gays and lesbians. That and a number of other discrimination are the issues I'm trying to raise because the truth is that there's a proverbial ten ton gorilla in the room that no one ever talks about which is the desperate need for a non-believers civil rights movement to demand equality and equitable treatment, especially the mistreatment of our kids in schools by christian teachers (i know there's a need there, I had a few of those teachers).

Actually there is a lot more than a lack of evidence of a god, I have a stack of evidence that flat disproves it.

On a side note, I don't love Ayn Rand, but she did say that which can be proven true is fact regardless of our feelings on the matter. Thats a great quote and an excellent definition of fact i'll give her.
